We’re looking at the latest version of a classic strategy/arcade title that has kept fans captivated for years. Worms 2008 proves that having worms can actually be fun. The cartoony visuals use lush colours and detailed animation, providing the richest depiction of the Worms battleground on a mobile to date.

The controls are nice and tight – a difficult task given the constraints of mobile keypads, and there’s plenty of variety to keep you playing for days and weeks to come.

If you’re a fan of blowing things to little pieces, but having to put a little thought into the best way to do it, we can’t recommend Worms 2008 highly enough. Did we also mention it’s on special for the week?
